Studying signs from the heavens and dabbling in crystal divination, this dreamy spiral gives vague (and occasionally accurate) readings in her horoscope scrolls. As a naturally creative Capricorn, Celephais is a talented writer, something that comes in handy when she prepares her astrological forecasts for the clan's weekly news bulletin.

Curiously, no matter what house a certain planet is in, or the position of various constellations, the season, the time of night, the weather, what she had for breakfast...nothing seems to affect Celephais' predictions much, which feature regular warnings about tall, dark strangers, hints of secret admirers who are closer than you think, assurances that something that has been lost will soon turn up, and the ever sage advise that a black cat crossing your path is a sure sign of misfortune, but a white cat doing the same thing is good luck, and a grey cat is "eh, better than nothing."

Of course, being a Capricorn, Celephais is also rather sensitive, and scepticism can often result in emotional displays of shock and protest, the insulting notion that her predictions may be anything less than precise being highly offensive and scandalous. The spiral truly believes in the art of prognostication, and has an infallible way of interpreting the results...

Memorably, Celephais was once challenged regarding a forecast she had written - "Scorpio - an exciting event will happen in your near future." Fluxx, a resident scorpio, had scoffed at this one Sunday morning, noisily proclaiming to all who would listen that it hadn't come true for her that week, and that horoscopes were all nonsense. Making a show of laughing loudly and derisively for the small crowd of residents who were gathered, she flapped too close to the sprinklers, and her circuit runes sparked and caused a downpour that drenched the entire first floor. Several robots went haywire and chased the lab technicians, and a sensitive experiment had a chemical reaction to the water and exploded, covering a scientist in luminous goo, which promptly turned him invisible. Machines and gadgets fizzed and crackled, familiars panicked, and the smell of smoke, burnt rubber, and wet scales hung heavily in the air. Lifting her sodden crests, the fae could only look on as Celephais said serenely "Wow! That was pretty exciting wasn't it?"

Fun fact: Celephais' name is a famous city in the Dreamlands from the works of H.P. Lovecraft.
