The demure Nurse Libitina originated from The Scarred Wasteland, lending her interest and knowledge of rare herbs to care for ill members of Clan Empyrisan and providing them with the comfort of her presence and music.

Born with pallid colors and markings, Libitina had no trouble fitting in with fellow dragons of the Plague Flight. For Plagueborn Coatls, this was seen as a gift bestowed upon by Plaguebringer Herself, and Libitina prided herself in her god-given complexion. However, this was not to last when Libitina answered the Emberglow Hearth's "Call" during mating season, despite her family's warnings. Her arrival was met with suspicion and disgust by the more brilliantly colored Coatls, residents and visitors alike, and she was subsequently rejected from the brooding community.

Libitina's misfortune soon turned to disaster when she, on her way home, encountered a gang of Coatl vigilantes who seek to cull the Ashfall Wastes of all "sickly" Coatls. She was chased to the edge of Fire territory, caught, and nearly beaten to death. When the vigilantes were finished with her, they left her at the Windswept Plateau border to either succumb to her wounds or die at the hands of the merciless Talonok Beastclan that roost in the area.

Instead, she was found by a traveling Harpy and Serthis couple who, during the next wordless week, cleaned and bandaged her injuries and kept her company while she healed. But without notice, they disappeared, never to be seen again.
