"Nightdreaming again?" The words came along with a good-natured laugh from just behind him- his mate had crept up on him again as he sat, watching the moon rise. He didn't say anything, just nodded, unable to pull his eyes away. "You'll get there someday. I'm sure it's just as beautiful to watch the world from way out there." She was so supportive of him, of his admittedly far-fetched dreams. He finally did turn, moving to rest his head against her neck.
"What are you doing out here so early?" The night had only just fallen, Kaden wasn't usually awake for some time. Not that he ever minded, he loved spending the moonrise with her.
"I woke up and noticed you missing." She sat next to him, all silent ease and grace. "So I came to find you."
"Do you really think that I'll get there?" XKCD turned, worrying at his lipscales with his teeth.
"I think you will."
