Zircon joined the clan at a young age, while the old king reigned. He was found as an egg, already beginning to crack through. Even though the kingdom was currently at war with Light Country, the king decided to take the egg in. His advisors were confused, but knew better than to oppose him. When Zircon hatched, he released an enormous magical charge that had never been seen in the kingdoms own young. Even from the moment he hatched it was decided that Zircon would be the next Court Wizard. He had other plans though, having visions just days after his hatching. This shocked the kingdom, as he has the Light element. While the study was never finished, the old Court Wizard believed it was a blessing from the Tidelord.

While growing up, he had a lot of trouble controlling his visions. They would happen randomly, in varying strengths. This was troubling to the kingdom, since most younglings have their visions under control hours after their hatching. The only person who wasn’t concerned was the Arcane-Borne Leuce, the wise old Oracle. He was the only one who could get through to Zircon during his especially violent visions. He acted as a mentor to the young nocturne, guiding him through all these confusing feelings and visions, which he himself was so familiar with.
