With the recent reintroduction of Gaolers to the world, traces of their magic can be found in the frozen tunnels they have abandoned. Magic used to seal away evil and the shade, fueled by hundreds of years worth of duty and responsibility.
Truly sounds like a place where sentient magic can be found.
Styber was one of the entities in there, hostile in a calm, icy way. Powerful enough to trap any dragon, and seal them away until eternity itself will come to end, even proving a challenge to those who have gone out of their way to collect other magical entities.
It took a pure, blessed entity to take Styber down, to at least get them to listen. Their limitless patience and understanding, paired with their almost motherly persona eventually got the entity calm enough to be safe for the other entities to be around- though at that point they were pretty much done trying to give others a chance at life, especially if they were ALL going to be like that.
Whether the once hostile entity will do well in the Orphanage though, no one knows for sure.
