No one would guess, but Celine used to be nobility. She's the daughter of some kind of noble, and from a young age it was pretty clear that she was expected to marry nobility. ...Sadly, the spiral was VERY quick to prove she couldn't be contained in such as stuffy, ‘boring’ life.She frequently ran off, snuck out and made friends with dragons her parents didn’t approve of. The number of nannies and bodyguards that were hired just to contain her, only to be fired because they failed to do so must be somewhere in the fifties- and that only accounts for her childhood! She got worse as she grew older...

She didn’t lose this rebellious streak, often going out without permission or guards to interact and wander among the common folk, and amazingly enough things got EVEN WORSE when she got a taste of the parties and celebrations that happened, and she frequently attended them. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back for her parents, and one night, Celine was quite literally thrown into the dungeons. If she couldn’t be contained in comfort, perhaps this would teach her.

Obviously, this only made the spiral bitter towards her parents.

They wanted her to act like the nobility she was born to be? Okay then. She’d be EXACTLY like the nobility she had seen all troughout her life. They wanted her to act like a stuck-up snob, so she was going to!

When potential- parent approved- suitors came to meet her, Celine acted as if they were mere servants, and wasn’t shy to rudely judge and order them around. She had a lot of fun sending those snobs packing.

All went well for her until she managed to anger a royal.

While her attitude and manners towards other nobility were infamous, her beauty was spoken about just as often- if not more so, and it drew in an actual prince.

Needless to say: after five days at the manor Celine had been held captive in her parents lost their title, and everything they had, and they got kicked out.

Celine got disowned by her family as well, though she couldn’t care less at that point.

She had absolutely no regrets as she gracefully wandered off to start a life of her own.
