CASSANDRA Upon seeing her beauty for the first time, Apollo fell in love. He pursued her, trying to seduce her by giving her the gift of seeing the future. Cassandra wasn't swayed, and still refused him. In revenge, and unable to take back the gift he had given her, he cursed her so that no matter what, her prophecies would never be believed. As such, she is completely ignored by most of the clan. |

APOLLO Born on land that was not an island nor land itself. Apollo started out great with a loving mother and a twin sister, Artemis, who's the goddess of the hunt. It was only four days after this birth that he wrestled with snakes and won, proving his lineage, all to protect his mother. Taking many lovers along his life, Cassandra is the most important one to him. Originally, he fell in love with her at first sight, but when she saw him it wasn't the same. Able to resist the temptations of a god, she turned him down on the spot, even after he promised her prophetic sight if she let him lay with her. Angered and not used to being rejected, Cassandra was cursed with the sight of the future, but that no one would believe her when she spoke of it. They repaired their relationship, but the marriage is strained, and Cassandra doesn't love him as much as she could. Apollo is too vain to really love her. |

Cronus, fearing that one day one of his children would overpower him and take over Olympus, started swallowing his children almost as soon as they were born. Rhea, unwilling to let another child be eaten by her husband, asked Gaia to help her hide her son, and instead gave Cronus a rock wrapped in swaddling clothes. Years later, after being take care of my Gaia and training, Zeus was ready to face Cronus. He forced his father to throw up his siblings, and with the help of his siblings, he took down the Titans and gained control over Olympus, where he still rules today. Zeus is the god of the skies and thunder and lightning, with Hera as his wife. Originally, Hera did not want to wed him, but he tricked her and as such Hera forced the marriage to retain her dignity. Zeus has sired many offspring since that day, taking many consorts and lovers along with his wife. |

HERA
Hera is the god of marriage, which is almost ironic considering her sham of a marriage to Zeus. Originally she did not want to wed the god, but he tricked her, and as such she forced the marriage on him to save her own dignity. Hera does not get along with the children that Zeus sires with other women. One of the most hated by her is Echo, a nymph who distracted her by talking on and on as Zeus went around having affairs. Once Hera learned the trick that was being played on her, she cursed Echo to never be able to create words, just to repeat the last couple words that others said. She keeps a sharp eye on her husband, refusing to let him get into more trouble, but he still manages to get out of her sight. |
