NOTES
- Collects pelts, bones and gems.
- Uses a crossbow with iron bolts (long-range weapon).
- Is a good cook; uses native ingredients and writes recipe books.
- Kind of a kitchen witch? Maybe?
- Enchants his food with the ingredients he finds (alchemy?)
- Very old; like, ancient.
- Worships Minor Sornieth Deity Hircine, god of the hunt.
- Is a werewolf; even not transformed, he's very shaggy and hairy (constantly in winter coat?)
- As a werewolf, he has a gray coat (lighter than other Companions due to his age), with darker markings around his eyes, similar to the glasses he wears as a Tundra.
- Loves kids.
- Is from an old Shade Cult - now gone, he's the last alive member of it.
- So, not only does he worship Hircine, he also worships the Shade.
- The shard of the Shade he and his cult worships is called Alduin, who has a draconic shape.
- Has taxidermied animals in his house and on his walls - from his hunts. Asks Equinox to make them from the prey he kills.
- Kinda trigger happy with hunting - will use his crossbow often to shoot down the wildlife when on his travels.
- At the very least, he doesn't... Waste a lot? Will use all of the animal parts, or will trade/sell the ones he doesn't need.
- Can master Fire elementary magic despite being Ice - it took a lot of studying and almost his complete lifespan for him to succeed.
- Believes that, with enough efforts and meditation, he will become a God.
- He believes that he will become a vessel for Alduin??
- Over time, he "created" (unconsciously) a thoughtform or tulpa/headmate of Alduin.
- He considers it like the beginning of his goal being achieved.
- He genuinely believes that this voice in his head is Alduin, the actual Shade shard, that is slowly taking over him (the vessel).
- Meta-lore wise, it's just his delusions and worships that "created" this headmate.
- Sometimes he switches, and "Alduin" takes control.
- Honestly, his headmate is like an alternate Alduin, who isn't a Shade shard, and who is not even powerful or has any powers.
- It's like... Legit just a tulpa.
- But it reinforces his beliefs that he'll be a vessel for his Dragon Overlord, etc etc.
- His armor is made out of Banecale bones and scales - it was passed down through his family, who goes back to the Ancient breed times.
- Has links with Harpies, particularly Hagravens - a particular clan of birdfolk who does occult stuff.
- The Forsworn are a group of Beastclan, probably Longneck, who has links with the first formed proto-Beastclans. They think of themselves as the rightful owners of Sornieth.
- The Hagravens and Forsworn are linked together, by rituals and marriage/arranged stuff.
- Dovaaklar met them as a young tundra, and was accepted as one of their own. (DEVELOP THIS)
- Like, he didn't really want to be part of the Shade Cult? He was a rebellious teen, and ran away.
- Spent his time with the Forsworn and Hagravens pretty much until his mid-adult life; until something happened (vvv) and he went back to his original home/Cult?
- Maybe the Forsworn and Hagravens group that he was with, were wiped out by enemies?
- And Dovaaklar was the only survivor. Ran away before getting killed, but at the same time abandoned his foster family...
- How did his guardian react when he came back? It was only him and his uncle (??) in that Cult, I think...
- Since Dovaaklar is now the last member... There was already like, no one left in that group when he was younger lol
- Regardless, filled with guilt from having ran away for so many years, he decided to devote the entire remainder of his life to Alduin - and resumed the Fire Breath studying he had started as a child...
- Though, maybe the Forsworns and Hagravens helped him with that? A little? It's not Voice magic from them, unlike Alduin, but they could have given him some other magic with rituals... ?
- Dovaaklar has an Elder Scroll, a powerful artefact that he hides from others and jealously guards.
- It's always on his person, to make sure it doesn't get stolen or messed with.
- Dovaaklar is part of a group of shifter warriors called the Companions.
- Though in the past it was mostly a rag-tag gang of melee attackers that wanted to protect Honour, nowadays they fight against the Silverhand.
- The Companions' offical members are all werewolves or shifters, which the Silverhand loathes.
- Though the Companions are not that many people, they fight fang and claw against those who hate them.
- Infiltration, assault on the Silverhand bases, etc etc.
- Dovaaklar walks silently, often sneaking and crawling around.
- Despite his age, he's very nimble and graceful when he fights physically against others.
- Can use his sharp natural claws to deal damages, when he's not using his one-handed small war axe (close-range weapon).
- When using his claws, he will often target the eyes of his opponents...
- He wears a ring blessed by Hircine himself, which allows him for easier werewolf transformations (and more raw power when in that shape).
- Hunts alone, or with Aela (his wife) only; refuses to team up with anyone else, because he's old and doesn't want to deal with the pain of cooperating with people that aren't as close to him.

- Sinding, past companion to Dovaaklar.
- Werewolf.
- They both lived in a cave, together.
- And hunted and stuff.
- How does this timeline works?
- Dovaaklar is born in the Dragon Cult; as a teen, he runs away with Hagravens and Forsworns; mid-adult, he goes back to his family's Cult because of overall guilt and because of his foster family being massacred; as an old adult, on his travels to perfect his Elder Scroll/Voice knowledge, he meets Sinding (they fall in love) and he gets turned into a werewolf; Sinding dies to hunters, Dovaklaar leaves with his love's pelt; he enters the Companions out of a desire of revenge, and also to clean his Honor (see below vvv); meets Aela then, they're good warrior-and-hunting friends (and soon lovers); later on, as an elder, Aela tells him that they're going to have a child soon; he decides to become an official couple with her then (both to deal with the long-lived grief about Sinding, and also because he always loved her too).
- Dovaaklar has Sinding's full werewolf pelt. How did he die?
- Killed by hunters?
- Yeah, they might have gotten ambushed in their own cave, by werewolf hunters (Silverhand??).
- Maybe it's like in Skyrim, when Sinding kills a child by accident, and escapes the prison to flee to a grotto.
- Dovaaklar is given the cursed Ring of Hircine by Sinding, and the Tundra talks directly with Hircine. The God tells him to kill the werewolf, for the Spirit of the Hunt.
- The Tundra meets Sinding inside the grotto, apprehensively; they end up bonding, and Dovaaklar refuses to kill him.
- They grow close, and Sinding and Dovaaklar do the Blood Ritual. The Tundra knows that it's risky with the Ring in his possession, but... Dovaaklar has faith in himself.
- He always wanted to be a werewolf; probably due to his links with Forsworns and Hagravens (who did occult things with nature and shifters etc etc, at least in my FR lore), and him worshiping Hircine due to hunting.
- He does feel guilty about not honoring his God, but Hircine does not send him his wrath (yet, at least...)
- During all of the time that they spend together, Hircine's cursed Ring causes Dovaaklar to randomly transform. Sinding is there to support him through those times, being the one to go outside, to hunt, and to bring back food (since he can now control himself after giving the ring to the Tundra.)
- Dovaaklar being an older and wiser soul (compared to Sinding being younger and less experimented), he doesn't have as much lack of control (or "bloodlust") in his werewolf form.
- But he does stay in the grotto, just in case y'know.
- However, Hircine has not given up in the Sport of Hunting, and has been contacting some of his worshippers for a while now, for Sinding's hunt. Soon, Silverhand hunters (who heard of the whole thing) and regular Hircine followers team up to kill the werewolf and his ally.
- Everyone meet in the grotto one night, during a moon eclipse (the "Blood Moon"), and the assault begins.
- Dovaaklar survives, and manages to kill some of the attackers due to his fighting skills (the ring not triggering his transformations in that time tho, even when he ends up struggling quite a lot against his opponents.)
- However, Sinding ends up dying after wiping out the majority of the fighters.
- With his love dead, and the hunters' bodies lying broken and bloody, everywhere in their grotto, Dovaaklar stumbles outside, in shock.
- It is then that Hircine shows himself to him, in the shape of a ghostly werewolf Sinding. He says that he admires Dovaaklar's loyalty to Sinding, and that by killing the hunters and his followers, the Tundra "turned the Hunt inside out" (but like, in a good way y'know).
- Impressed, and with good sportsmanship, Hircine removes the curse from the Ring.
- The Tundra feels bittersweet, but his initial shock has passed a little. He goes back to the grotto, and skins Sinding's body as a memento.
- Takes the full pelt (with claws and pawpads etc), plus the entire head (with eyes, teeth, etc). He will preserve the whole thing later on, with some plants and local salt. Back at his home, he will tan it completely.
- When he joins the Companions, they're surprised to learn that Dovaaklar is already a werewolf...
- They know therefore that he made the blood ritual with another werewolf.
