Bio:
HISTORY
Born to two Imperial parents in a Plague Clan, Soul did not have what one would call the ideal upbringing. Her parents were both students of the undead. Both of them had died and been resurrected through the art of necromancy. How they were able to have hatchlings is unknown, but nevertheless, Soul and her two siblings were born. Her parents held no love for her, of course. They were both incapable of love and kindness, and the other members of her Clan did not love them either. Love was weakness. Love would bring you down. Love would make you hesitate on the battlefield and get you killed. There was no time for love in Soul's life.
Soul's younger brother died unnamed. Their parents, of course, did not care about this. In fact, they saw it as a way to further study the effects of necromancy on the body, and Soul was forced to watch her parents reanimate her brother's corpse right before her eyes as a hatchling. Although she would never say it, this had a profound affect on her, and she was never the same after that. How could she ever be the same? Once you see something like that, you do not forget it. It made her sick, and after that, Soul vowed never to use dark magic, no matter the circumstance.
When she finally came of age, Soul left behind the lands of Plague without a second thought. Though she had earned her place in her Plague Clan by being a strong fighter, it was not the type of life she wanted to lead. She desperately wanted to leave behind the life she had been born into. She became an author, and wrote mostly against the use of dark magic and necromancy as a result of her own abuse. She also wrote fiction and quickly became famous for it. She came to her new Clan when Morgana, another female Imperial, came to her and complained about how their library did not have enough books. Deciding to become the Clan's official author, Soul joined Morgana and came to the Clan with her.
PERSONALITY
Soul enjoys avoiding drama and keeping things light-hearted. Due to her upbringing, she tends to avoid things that are dark and frightening and sticks to more lighthearted subjects. Most of the books she writes are hatchling stories, and because of this, hatchlings tend to flock to her and beg her to read them stories. She happily obliges, telling them stories about great heroes and defenders of the light defeating the great darkness, the evil that haunts us all. The hatchlings love her stories, and she has become quite popular with them in the Clan. She loves hatchlings, herself, and longs for her own one day, although she does not have a mate.
Soul is very easy going and is not easily angered. It takes a lot to get her riled up or angry. She is good at calming herself down, and is also good at keeping others calm. She does not like conflict and will avoid it if necessary. However, she can provide a good shoulder to cry on if needed. Her personality makes her good with the hatchlings that flock to her, and also make her good for the rest of the Clan. She is generally kind and gentle, and does not like to fight, even though she is good at it.
