"You look like a cookie," said Teflon.

"You look like a butt," said Crumbles.

"...fair enough."

"You husband likes to cook. Do you bake?" Pryntsesa asked, running a talon over the counter.

"No. I don't."

"Then..."

"My parents were hippies."

"And you?" she glared. "What are you and what do you have to offer my grandson."

"We..."

Pryntsesa swooped around the counter. She was small and built like a skeleton, but she also appeared much larger than she was. Crumbles knew her reputation.

"You'd better have something to offer other than 'we love each other,'" Pryntsesa growled.

Crumbles sighed. "...follow me to the lab."

Her quarters glowed with a faint pink light. All about the room, weightless arcane crystals swirled around the center of the room. a magic rune decorated the center of the floor.

"What is this?" Pryntsesa asked.

"I'm studying the arcane stones... to find the secret of the Starfall Isles' creation."

Pryntsesa hissed and cackled.

"You act like an arcane dragon yourself."

"I would like to be," Crumbles paused. "Light dragons live in the ruins in of the past. I prefer to think about the future." She picked a stone out of the air and stared into it. "I know Teflon can't use magic. It's no secret. But maybe I can help him somehow..."

Pryntsesa's eyes flashed. "Be careful. You did not grow up around magic like we did. Hodor and I know of its consequences better than anyone." Her intense stare pierced through Crumbles.

"Thank you, Matron."

"Don't. I've done nothing for you yet."
