Personality: Reserved, introverted and quiet, she follows her own code of morals. She is respected for her sense of justice and the way she can lead her rather eclectic Clan. She seems to be the opposite of her mate Gaspacho in term of personnalities: she's much less energetic and much more mysterious than he is. She speaks in a monotone much like other Faes. Some dragons stranger to the Clan report that her presence bothers them in an eerie way.
Nightshade hesitated between the Scarred Wasteland and the Tangled Woods to settle down. In the end, she took residence in a tree at the edge of the Woods and decided to live there, away from other dragons. That is, until another, much more energetic Fae, Gaspacho, found her when she was catching insects one day. He was alone too, and just wouldn't leave her, and Nightshade unexpectedly found she didn't mind his company. They became close friends, then even mates, and Gaspacho convinced her to build a Clan together, named after their favourite animals: the Chiroptera Cult. The Cult quickly grew, as there were very few rules and everyone was accepted no matter their background as long as they swore to respect them. Mainly, no member of the Cult was to hurt another member or a truly innocent dragon. A lot of weird, dangerous, even murderous dragons, and some creatures that just faked being dragons ended up in the Clan, and Nightshade embraced it, for she had always been interested in the twisted depth of the mind. Soon, she had to ask xxxHolic and the other mages of the Clan to create a pocket dimension in order to accomodate the ever-growing Cult and hide it to the eyes of dragons that were not destined to join it. The enter of that dimension frequently changes place within the Woods, but Cultist are always able to instinctively find it. Nightshade was born alone in the Tangled Woods from a seemingly abandonned egg. She has no memory of whoever protected her in the first days of her life, only a sense of security, calming darkness, and the feeling of tar-like goo on her skin.
