Vain, arrogant, nosy, and conceited are but a few of the ways Aragwen's clan mates would describe him. Few are aware of the hard ways he earned his treasures, from the fine clothes he wears to the golden tattoos on his scales. Though Dawnthorn doesn't know any details, he know enough of Aragwen's traits and trials to allow him to live unchecked within his clan.

As treasurer, Aragwen is responsible for seeing all items that go in and out of the clan. Because of this, he deals often with Dante, who he considers both his closest friend and greatest enemy as each tries to outdo the other with their embellishments, whether it be their clothes or their stories. Dante is, of course, unaware of how seriously Aragwen takes their conversations.

Aragwen also sees Gwennan quite often, and is oddly intrigued by the simple dragon who cares for little more other than his studies and the items he can procure from Aragwen. The treasurer finds it quite annoying that Dawnthorn has given Gwennan run of his coffers carte blanche, but would never dream about going against the leader who gave him a chance when few others would. Instead, Aragwen tries to talk with Gwennan and learns his secrets, though the alchemist is frustratingly tight lipped.
