Empire of Death: Clan of Death
|
Greed was a tough hatchling right out of the egg. The young bogsneak would snap at anything that she could get her jaws around, including the tails of much larger dragons. She'd constantly tussle with her siblings in the nest and pick fights with other hatchlings in the clan as well. It was clear right from the start that she'd make a good fighter when she grew older. Her parents even began encouraging this aggressive behavior when it wasn't directed at her clanmates. The hatchling had even managed to start hunting for herself long before she was even close to being old enough to be on her own. It was clear to many that she was definitely a true Plague-born dragon with her will to survive and thrive.
This only fueled her instinct to fight and get stronger. The bogsneak had left her birth clan once she'd grown old enough to go out on her own. She ended up heading elsewhere in Plague where she picked up on magic involving the dark arts and blood magic. It was tough to learn but only served to aid her in her survival in the harsh world. To be quite honest, the young dragon also felt a sense of power from knowing just how easily she could crush his enemies when push came to shove. Still, she was always likes to keep her physical strength up to par. This way of life gave her a good amount of enemies and in the beginning she wasn't concerned by this development... That changed as time went on. |
The bogsneak was left wounded badly after a few of her enemies teamed up and hunted her down. Greed was left to die in the red sands of Plague. She'd attempted to drag herself to shelter but the heat and lack of water left her weary. Infection quickly set in as well and she soon began to believe she might actually die. She finally passed out... only to wake up in a clan with other dragons. Her wounds had been treated and another bogsneak was sitting nearby watching over her. Seeing she was awake, he'd left and got the leader and medic to discuss what had happened. After a healing period, Greed agreed to stay in the clan and work as a warrior for their army. It provided her with protection from her enemies and gave her the perfect opportunity to continue doing what she enjoyed most: fighting. Eventually, she and Sadeas, the bogsneak who'd found her, grew closer and became mates. The two enjoy sparring together and training their hatchlings to fight as well before they leave on lives of their own. Of course, out in Plague there's danger at every corner and during one battle with another clan, Sadeas fell in battle. She grieved the loss of her mate but that was the life out here and eventually, Greed moved on to focus back on making sure she was strong enough not to fall in battle as well. |
