Personality: Riven is far more serious and severe than her sister, Edanna. The icy armor that she manifests in battle is a fairly accurate reflection of her attitude. From an early age, Riven showed a very solemn determination to protect everyone around her. She always seems to be on guard, even when she's not training. She quickly developed an admiration for Power after the Mirror dragon became an integrated member of the clan, and looks up to her immensely. Riven wants to protect the clan at any cost and will do anything to keep her family safe.
As the future protector of the clan, Riven has been entrusted with the "ancestral helm"-- a Shadowscale Helmet, the first worldly possession that Ayala obtained in Sornieth after founding her clan with Myst and Falcon. Word has it that the Helm possesses special protective properties, although some dragons in the clan are skeptical of this.
