"Yeaaaaah, they do now that they got all dressed up... " Umbra agreed.
"Tech over there keeps saying that he looks 'rad' and that he's a total 'Lady's man' now, he looks ridiculous"
"Well, Senja looks kinda cute"
"You only think that because he's your mate, ya wanna know what they said to me the other day when I asked them about their new getups?"
"Not really" groaned Umbra
"They said that they plan to start entering flying contests and that they're equipped with 'only what's necessary' to 'ensure minimal drag and optimal awesomeness' and Tech asssuuurrrred me that his rose was a '100% necessity' to make sure his 'lady fans' were thoroughly pleased with his performance because he plans on throwing it to the 'screaming fans' when he passes the crowd after their 'super daring and dangerous finishing move' has been executed to 'ensure victory every time'."
"You've gotta be kidding me, they don't actually believe that'll work do they?" Umbra said while trying to hold back laughter
"I asked them the same thing and they said they were suuuper serious and that I just didn't get how the competitive flying scene worked, they seemed so assured in their delusion that I just shook my head and walked off"
"That had be a painful conversation, ugh, these boys...." sighed Umbra

"Hey- hey dude, Umbra and Shade are looking, how do my goggles look?" stammered Senja
Tech jumped a little in surprise (he had been lost in thought about what moves they should start practicing for flying races) bumping into Senja and in the process knocked their goggles out of place
"Dude! What the heck, the lady is looking!" Senja hissed as they both scrambled around frantically fixing their gear before puffing out their chests and started whispering to each other-
"You got a bit of dirt on your nose-- ok... ok yeah you're good bro, you look cool, do I look ok?"
"Yeah, yeah bro, you look cool"
"Cool bro, thanks"
"We should go practice our moves now"
"Yeah lets go"
"Are they still looking?"
"Yeah, act cool!" Hissed Tech
And with that they started strutting off

As the two boys got out of earshot the ladies started laughing hysterically
"Oh my gosh, they're such dorks!"
"Did you see them scramble, Oh Shadowbinder they're so pathetic"
"I knoooow, it's great, Senja still has dirt all over his tail guard! Oh, I love that boy but sometimes he's so hard to take seriously!" Umbra giggled, wiping tears out of her eyes from laughing so hard
"Awwwww, aren't you glad I told you to go talk to him when we saw him in the Trickmurk Parade?" teased Shade
"Ohh, be quiet Shade, I would've gone to talk to him anyways!"
"Suuuuure"
Umbra *tisk'd* "Come on I think they're gonna go try some flying moves now, lets watch"
"Oh THAT'LL be a treat!! 50 treasure says they'll crash into each other at some point!"
