"We are all stars, unbound by gravity."

Since her hatching, WellRead had always been different from her Plague clanmates. While they were fighting the harshness of nature and struggling to survive, she'd be on the sidelines, immersed in channeling magic into rocks and making them all sparkly. While her clanmates were battling against themselves and pushing their limits, she'd be checking her reflection in a nearby pool of water. This was fine with her parents -- after all, not every dragon was born to be a fighter. But when WellRead decided to prettify her clanmates and lair, the foot went down, and she was promptly exiled, which she found rather unfair. What was wrong with turning her friends pink? Or the food? Or the lair? Or covering everything in a layer of glitter and dousing everything with eye-burning paint that was radioactive and probably gave you a third eye if consumed?

As one might expect, it was only a matter of time after her banishment before WellRead became much too exhausted and beat-up to continue on. She began regretting sitting out during training sessions, for while she could still appreciate her beauty in looking-pools, that did not do much to help her grumbling stomach. Looking for something to eat, she traversed the lumpy terrain of the Scarred Wasteland before finally succumbing to thirst and hunger.

WellRead probably would've died a miserable death unfit of her apparent beauty, but that was not her fate. Before she could pass out, a single glint in the distance caught her eye. Dying from starvation and dehydration, WellRead summoned all her strength and pulled herself towards the sparkle. Slowly the glint grew into a glittering crystalline landscape -- the Starfall Isles -- and WellRead was stunned by the sight before her. Plump fruit The sky was so blue, the sparkles so bright, and everything was simply...beautiful.

And behind her amazement, there was a slow, defensive pulse within her being. There was a desire to preserve this image in her mind, to spread it across Sornieth and watch it glow.

And that was when she realised her Charge.

Beauty.

With her Charge being beauty itself, WellRead has taken it upon herself to beautify the world around her, whether the world wants it or not. More often than not can she be seen polishing the already flawless walls or waxing the floor. And while yes, the floor looks nice and shiny after being waxed, no dragon really appreciates slipping on the ground and falling flat on their faces.

When not helping her clan out as a mercenary, which fortunately or unfortunately takes out a large chunk of how she spends her time, WellRead can be seen designing the next most popular piece of apparel. Her clanmates are fine with this, but they'd like her to remember not to do that in the Mire.

There is a myth as to whether WellRead truly exists or not. This may be due to her most recent invention: the Cloak of Truth. Made out of fabric of the highest quality and woven together by enchanted threads, none but those most appreciative of beauty can see this cloak. Unfortunately, this also means that almost nobody can see the wearer of the cloak. Some dragons have reported seeing random flurries of butterflies and floating branches around the lair. Survivors of encounters refuse to speak of it.
