History:

-Early Life-

You would never know it, but Obsidian was born to some very poor, rather simple dragons. Her mother had an extreme love of books and a pet bear. Her father was a painter with a slime trailing pet snail. They didn't pay her really any attention what-so-ever, and so she ran away at a very young age. That didn't bother her much, the constant mess had driven her tiny, perfectionist self crazy. How could anyone stand to live like that? All the chaos and clutter was unbearable.

-Fenrir-

It wasn't long before she was picked up by an awe-inspiring imperial by the name of Fenrir. His presence alone hushed every hatchling within sight, he was emitting an aura that demanded respect. Why he chose her she didn't actually know, but she'd go to her grave telling you it was because she put off that same vibe. She was confident, proud, and did not shake and shiver at the sight of him.

-The Mafia-

Obsidian was adopted, and made Heir of the Mafia, a title and rank she felt she deserved. She was vicious, ruthless, and had a frigid heart. Mercy was a trait she could neither afford or own. With a paralyzing gaze and the cold appearance she glowed with, she was quick to be dubbed "The Frigid Queen", a name well placed. She earned the respect of every dragon to meet her, and some that just saw her. Heir to Fenrir, next in line, she would be the perfect ruler.

-Mirage-

So what was it that earned her the admiration and fear of the Mafia? Mirage. Another pearlcatcher, one who was as white as the snow plains that made up her heart. He melted her a little, had seven eggs with her, but he was weak. For her own future, she had to kill him, because she could not rule with an iron fist if it were softened by gloves. Besides, he didn't give her desirable offspring, only weaklings. That wasn't acceptable: Mirage had to die, and so she killed him.

I feel like Obsidian frequently cleans her living quarters. Not because she has to, but because she wants to. The last thing she wants is a messy home. Everything is almost always sparkling clean. And if it's not, she'll probably get to it very very soon.

She takes pride in being one of the most clean and tidy dragons. For what reason? Nobody can tell you.
