Abandoned as a hatchling and raised by a squadron of Light paladins, Zyvcia was brought up to be the perfect warrior, faithfully dedicated to their cause. Zyvcia is an avid collector of runescrolls and Light artifacts, believing the Lightweaver will bless her and strengthen her abilities in battle. She also wears a short hooded cloak of star-silk, purchased from the Starfall Isles, to concentrate her magic.

She was honourably discharged from the squadron after she'd grown into a fine young dragon, after which she set off for the Tangled Wood to ask for the blessings of the Shadowbinder, the counterpart of the Lightweaver. Her journey through the Tangled Wood brought her to Sen Scathéan.
