3RLHZ9p.gif One day he was not there and the next he was. He came with the changing of the seasons, he came like mild winter, slow but seemingly ever-present. One day the whole wood colored brilliant shades of red, yellow, and orange, a bite of frost to the air and the next blanketed the crystalline white of snow covering up the clearing like it had been there all along and had every right to stay.

This was not to say he was obtrusive, no, he was just a steady presence in the background, quietly present and ever helpful a soothing presence on the soul, his quiet murmurs of good advice greatly appreciated during the furor of the changing seasons. As compared to the loud and obnoxious borders that came through in anticipation of the upcoming Festival, he was a calming balm on the permanent residents' nerves.

They were not surprised to see this old nameless wanderer come in and seemingly decide to settle down, he would not be the first, and he certainly would not be the last: and so, they gave him a name just as they had the to all those other old souls who wandered in and decided to stay. They named him for his quiet presence, his helpful whispers of good advice gathered over his many years living in Sornieth.


He came like the quiet susurrus of softly falling snowflakes.
