Nonus

When one dragon finds transcendence to a dimension beyond her existence, the ripples of such a butterfly's wingbeat echo far past her own life. Nonus often views the world like a crocodile at the water's surface; in one glimpse, he is a fae who lives in Sorneith with others of his kind, in another he is numbers in lines and arcanic symbols that tell thousands of stars what color to shine in a brilliant galaxy in his image.

To other dragons and in most of his day to day life, however, Nonus lives just as any other dragon does. In the morning, he checks in on visitors and locals alike. Any business to be conducted always happened over lunch, though a few times Eustanthius has caught the fae burning midnight oil in his jewelry shop trying to catch on orders...

In an open polyamorous relationship with Eustanthius and Karima;

Love language of gifts and words, he constantly hums and sings when either are in earshot and gladly wastes an ungodly amount of ink sending Karima or Eustanthius letters whenever either are away

Because of his incompatiblity with writing, he often resides curled up on top the coalt's back while they work on letters or documentation, though Karima volunteers from time to time when she's ashore

Children of Naomi are often strange and, oh, I am no different.

Zanem's name is pronounced as a very low buzzing noise- tends to hums teeth when pronounced correctly, in fact. They're quite used to butchered attempts by dragons and beastclans alike and will often respond without remarking the mistake. Nonus is by far their favorite weird little dragon and their relationship is closer to that of coded fate and mutual respect.

Having been born in the plaguelands, Nonus had met a many assumptions from visitors that his life was somehow primal or animalistic even. In truth, he lived in the shining light of his more famous father; Erroneous, who lived like a spoiled king in the wasteland with riches beyond most's comprehension. Such wealth was shared with his many queens and, more often than not, their hatchlings. Few took to the world far too soon to appreciate their gifts, yet Nonus was not one of them. He studied under his mother's wing and learned as much as he could with budding curiosity.

Somewhere in between lessons, they had caught eye of one of the many craftsmen in the clan while she twisted and cut simple gold thread into complex bracelets and necklaces. The sight enamored the fae enough they had forgot entirely about whatever their original goal was that had them drift through that part of the lair. They were all but rooted in place as they watched the creative spectacle, so entranced that it took one of their siblings to stumble upon the spectacle to finally send them back along their way.

In the following weeks, they charged head-first into their studies, finishing whatever they could as fast as they could so they had free time to revisit the spiral and her work. Their odd two-sight made the work all the more fascinating when they could see the exact moment simple material threads turn into apparel, with the unforseen benefit of winning the spiral's approval as they could correctly guess the name of various jewelry when prompted.

-Eustanthius meet, bonding, and the coalt's departure- curiosity of world peeks
-Leaves with a wind band, branches out in his jewelry making as a business to further fund his travels (see: bartering with jewelry to not get killed by some serthis merc he spooked)
-Barters their way into Ice territory, spends some time with beastclan, second sight serves well for translation when words appear before them
-Reunites with Eustanthius, meets karima and the rest of the Pirate crew
