When the wildclaw awoke, it had been to a blank mind and a dark cave. For a moment, his wings felt like they were split into flailing ribbons, but they had solidified under his stare into proper wings. Where was he? ...who was he?

Then the very cave moved around him, light flooding his senses and illuminating the red scales around him.

He wasn't alone.

Ludus gained his stoat as a gift from Ephemeral; their intentions were to hunt for food, but the color and spine similarities made them capture the tricky weasel alive. Needless to say it bonded to the other dragon instead of the Emperor. 		He dreamed of galaxies, swirling adrift in the void. Of stars, twinkling bright, and those that dart across the sky and closer and closer and-

The wildclaw's eyes snapped open as he woke with a start, before sudden sharp pain in his torso kept the dragon on the ground. He grimanced, daring to look down, and shaking claws gently traced unfamiliar, bloody bandages. Puzzled, he turned to his surroundings.
