Born on the day the Moon swallowed the sun, Solarius had hatched from his egg early that morning. He needed to gather all his strength as quickly as he could. The moon would in a few hours begin to move into the path of the sun and for a short time the sky would go dark. It is prophesied that, if he is in the presence of another eclipsed sun like the one of his birth, his power will grow to catastrophic levels if he does not first learn how to control it with relentless physical and mental training, so that it is not potentially dangerous. Whether his siblings share this same fate is unknown to him or if the prophecy is even really true. He seems resentful of his fate but, it is unclear if he is resentful of the ones that made him or of the moon, for stepping into the path of the sun.
