Iris is Gelida's alchemist, having come to the clan many years ago in seek of a new, more remote home to further her study of the art. She is a skilled craftsman and very innovate creator, for sure, but her roots and love for her home of the Shadow Flight can make her a mischievous trickster as well. To her, alchemy and trickery are offshoots of each other in the world of art. Outsiders of the clan may criticize her as irresponsible, a mockery of the arts she claims to practice, and if those outsiders are to wake up the next morning and find their homes overrun with frogs? Well, rest assured, Iris certainly had nothing to do with it.
Outside of her practices, Iris is indeed a huge animal lover, and one of Flowerfall's, Gelida's keeper of familiars', best friends. She, of course, love frogs, and is also a huge fan of bunnies. Her cauldron chamber is full of her animals hopping about; who knows how none of them have managed to accidentally fall into the cauldron thus far. Some say it is because they are immune due to the animals being products of alchemy themselves. Others say it is because Iris's animals are nothing but mere illusions themselves. As for the truth, no one truly knows—a true artist never reveals her secrets.
