Practical, compassionate, and determined, Hyllien is a powerful healer with a savage past. She and her sister, Sehasa, were born to a plague clan, but were accidentally left behind when the clan fled an invading force from the Starfall Isles. Small and alone, the pair would not have survived without the aid of the passing Wood Witch, Marzulathen. Already she was too late to prevent whatever curse or illness that had seized Hyllien's wings, but she halted its spread and sealed Sehasa against the same fate, bringing them to her clan as her charges.

Hyllien's curse renders her unable to fly, her wings far too sensitive and weak to bear her weight. They are raw and tender, constantly dripping blood, although between Hyllien's talent and Marzulathen's skills, they do not infect her patients. Oddly, the fallen blood never dries.

HEALER
Although her methods may be somewhat brutal, Hyllien's efficiency is unparalleled. She works from the inside out, using her Plague magic to isolate poisons, toxins, and malignant cells, and forces them to the surface where she can remove them.
