Achilles

Achilles has always considered himself a born warrior. He will do anything to defend his clan, and spends hours training to be of service. Rather than being a soldier, though, Achilles has always loved the thrill of a fight. He enjoys learning new abilities and thrives on visits to the coliseum. His mother, Tanis, has always recognized the battle fever inside him, and always encouraged him to follow what was important to him. Achilles loves his family. His mother, his sister, and his brother are more important than anything in the world to him. More important even than his training sessions with Gavin.

As a hatchling, Achilles ran off into the surrounding forest one day in the hopes of going on a solo hunting expedition. In the woods he found himself cornered by a Centaur Archer. They talked for the entire day, after which she escorted him back to his lair. Upon seeing him walk into the lair side by side with a centaur archer after being missing for an entire day, his mother nearly had a heart attack. Since that day, Mara, the archer, has helped train Achilles to be the dragon he is today. She is well-liked by most everyone in the clan for her friendly but no-nonsense demeanor.
