Since early childhood, Niami liked to go gathering with her mother. She always imagined that they were on a great adventure, exploring dangerous areas and finding exceptional treasures. She used to crwal through mud and soil all day, collecting anything that seemed interesting (which was literally anything).
As Niami grew up she learned about the actual value of many things and found the best places to dig for precious items. It was just a matter of time that she and Ezreal would meet - as they both were their clan's digging experts at that time. As soon as they gazed into each others eye, a heated rivalry began.
For a few weeks, they tried to always be one step ahead of each other - dicovering more and better digging places, finding loads of new materials and treasure, and tracking down the other one to learn about undected locations.
It was after a stormy day where they had to stay in the lair, when Niami realised that she didn't just miss going out for the gathering. She missed meeting with Ezreal, who challenged and motivated her at the same time.
It turned out that he felt the same way. So he asked Niami to join his fathers clan (which gladly took her in - never before was digging so fruitful.).
Since then, Niami and Ezreal are inseperable and their passionate rivalry turned into love.
