Light is a very gentle, calm and friendly dragon. Needless to say, he felt somewhat out of place in the clan he was born into - those were some of the most furious Plague Dragons in the Scarred Wastelands. Most of them didn't even have names but were identified by their fighting experience. Those who couldn't fight (or didn't want to) were totally ignored and got barely recognized by others.
So no one really noticed as the - at that time - unnamed Tundra just left the clan. And he also left behind the Scarred Wastelands, because he somehow knew he could never find his happiness there.

After a long journey through various regions of the world, the Tundra set food on the Windswept Plateau. Somehow, the gentle breeze made him happy and the sun was shining even brighter that day. He knew that this was a place for him.
Shortly after that, he encountered a friendly Guardian Female. She was searching for food which wood be suitable and healthy for newly born Hatchlings. Since the Tundra had experience with - what his other former clan members called - such unworthy tasks, he knew fairly well about cooking and nourishment. So he helped Neverwinter, how the female dragon called herself, and soon he was invited into her clan.
On that day, he gave himself the name "Light", for this was the first time he ever felt useful and appreciated - it was as if a dark shadow, who always had lingered in his heart, had vanished. Finally his happy and gentle soul had enough room to shine.
