Biography
Guardian Angel
Evangelina was born into an Arcane clan, where life was pretty good. Every member was treated as important individual and the high value of loyalty and family was passed on from generation to generation. Even dragons who travelled to see the world, settled down in other regions or were sent to serve the great Arcanist lived on in the tales of the clan members.
Evangelina vaguely remembered that she had a sister named Benevolent who was on her side when she was born. Even though she couldn’t clearly recall her appearance or voice, she felt the loss of an important connection since Benevolent was sent to foreign lands. Her parents did their best to tell the few tales they knew about her, but it wasn’t enough. So Evangelina decided to search for her sister.
She found her to the southeast in the Windswept Plateau. It was a strange reunion. Benevolent barely remembered her sister herself and didn’t seem to share her opinion about the importance of family. It was disappointing, but Evangelina refused to let her search for that special bond come to an end like this.
She knew there were more of her kind. Her father had told her about his other children – one of them served the Arcanist, but the other one also lived somewhere here, in the Windswept Plateau.
As Evangelina found her half-sister Iolanthe in the Zephyr Steppes, she felt an immediate connection. This Skydancer was intelligent, beautiful and had managed to obtain a fairly high position in her clan. And most importantly: She welcomed Evangelina with open arms. As they hugged, it felt like the most natural thing in the world. Since then, the young Skydancer follows her older half-sister. She insists to protect Iolanthe at any time, which – together with her appearance - brought her the nickname “Guardian Angel” by the other clan members.
Evangelina doesn’t care too much about the others, though. At least she doesn’t participate in daily duties or activities, but Iolanthe does her best to bring her half-sister closer to her new “family”. It seems to work. Slowly.
