TORAK
CLAN LEADER › PANSEXUAL | BIRTH CLAN | MATE

Art:
A BUST BY DEATHTHEASHEN

Torak was found by Grimley as a helpless little hatchling, scared and starving all alone in the middle of the woods. Grimley, being the caring dragon he is, quite literally took Torak under his wing and raised him as his own; as a part of the family. And sure enough, as Torak grew older and stronger, so did his bonds with the rest of the clan. As a somewhat small family began to grow, with new members being born or joining on their own regularly, Torak gained their respect not only through his kind and caring nature, but with his constant support and willingness to help whoever was in need. Eventually, he became the go-to dragon whenever someone had a question or needed help. When Grimley got hurt and was forced to resign from his position as the clan leader, all the other dragons became terrified of what was to become of the clan, and so like they'd always done before, they turned to Torak for the answer.

From the moment he was born, Torak has been a very free-spirited and worldly dragon. He's very upbeat and light-hearted, but isn't afraid to be serious when the situation calls for it. In more recent times, he's also taken to being a little more distant and pensive, especially since the role of clan leader fell upon him so suddenly. When he's not managing the clan, Torak spends most of his time scavenging for food, relaxing on his own, or flying around. He enjoys being the clan leader very much, but also likes to take time for himself whenever he can. Although he could have virtually any item he wants that's accessible to the clan (given his role in it), Torak prefers to live a simple lifestyle - he owns very few worldly possessions and also doesn't wear any apparel. Despite this fact, the one thing you'll almost always see on him is his familiar - Cargo the Ragamouse. Cargo can't talk to nor understand dragons, and the two don't really communicate at all, but rather have a sort of unspoken appreciation for each other's presence. He can almost always be found on Torak's shoulder or somewhere close by. Although flying is exciting and definitely up there on the list, their all-time favourite thing to do together is take long naps.
