Quietly, frowning.

Paging through the leafy sheets ahead of her, the brooding dragon sighs. Lately, the clan's been careless with the skirmishes. It wasn't enough for Malice to prank the apprentices with extra glow-in-the-dark sigils - "spelled to intimidate," more like spelled to ensure target practice for the nearest Shatterbone Vulture. Her own nipped a feather affectionally, noticing the weight of her gaze. The light was particularly irritating for those nocturnal familiars after all. Back to the task at hand.

Here, then, are the younglings that must leave. Must make their way into the world on their own, raise their own broods under another ruin, canopy, fortress. Moonlight would start talking fanatical about the Lightweaver herself, otherwise, the lure unforgiving. May they find purpose, she thinks, in any form possible. The clan could only nurture them for so long. Bitterly, she remembers Moon's philosophy. So convenient that her son had the same vision, the same cruel streak. But then, she supposes, that's the only way a clan could survive.

She kept notes though. They were gone, but never forgotten.
