Tourmaline the Messenger "Hello there, dear traveler!"

Tourmaline delivers mail for the caravan and announces their arrival to clans on their route. He flies ahead to scout paths and ask for permission to travel through territories. When there's no work for him to do, he helps set up tents and (begrudgingly) does some administrative work. Tourmaline is known for his competitive spirit and contagious energy. He's a skilled flier and loves aerial races. Hazel isn't much of a flier (though she's a quick runner), but still competes with him for the fun of it.

Despite his competitive nature, Tourmaline is easygoing and relaxed. He gets nervous about confrontation and high stakes, and has been known to be somewhat cowardly. He tries his best to diffuse tense situations with humor and kindness. He likes to give gifts, and collect trinkets from across Sornieth.
