Those who venture into the Red Forest should take caution while passing close to the trunks of the trees within. Merimar is a small Fae that uses his coloration to hide in plain sight, oftentimes ambushing unwary passerby with sharpened claws to the face. Because of his missing eye, he can no longer fly very well, and prefers to travel quickly and quietly along the ground with the aid of his elemental powers.

Unlike standard members of his breed, Merimar's finned crests stay rigid and fully extended, almost as if they are frozen or rusted in place. His gaze is piercing and unwavering, frequently giving those he stalks a deep and unsettling sense of being watched. Combined with the lack of blinking, this dragon is very hard to interpret and usually chooses to stare in unflinching silence at whoever attempts to engage him rather than entertain conversation. 		8oCYFfQ.png
eBHC472.png Merimar spends a lot of time around Murkbottom Mire, and appears to have some sort of friendship with the dragon who lurks within its waters. It is unknown how this duo of silent stalkers managed to forge such a relationship considering both of their unwillingness-es to be social around other denizens and visitors to the Zone. One thing is certain, however - the two make a deadly pair, and when both have selected the same target, that target is doomed to a grisly fate.
