The monster that lurks in Murkbottom Mire is no other than Reveille, a very large dragon covered in so much plantlife that it's frighteningly easy to overlook his presence despite his size. During the day, this solitary dragon spends his time submerged under a deceptively shallow-looking body of water, with only the luminous bulb on his head poking out. This bulb blends in with the native plants that dwell on the surface of the water, setting a very dangerous trap for the unwary. Once night falls, Reveille will sometimes exit the water to roam around the forest.

XEaOEQn.png Reveille does not enjoy being bothered, and if one is lucky enough to catch him when he's in a good mood, it is possible to get a few words out of him instead of an immediate attack. Whatever conversation he has is short and to the point, and once it progresses beyond that, he will exit in a rather brusque manner. He will usually listen and abide by Griever's requests, albeit begrudgingly.

Despite this dragon's lack of social skills and inclination to eat passerby instead of talking to them, he appears to have a friend. A small Fae that's missing an eye spends a substantial amount of time around Reveille's mire. This Fae shares the same coloration as Reveille, and has a very similar temperament.
