Backstory
Once a loyal servant to the Earthshaker, Wrath has already seen his fair share of fodder. He comes from a clan that benefitted from his combat training, and served the Earth deity. From a young age, he had a penchant for violence and bloodshed. It’s how everyone viewed him; as a soldier, a follower. Violence on the battlefield bled through to his daily life, turning him into a young boy full of rage. So much that everyone in his previous clan began to call him that; Wrath.
The name seemed to make it worse. It was a constant reminder of the rage inside of him that he couldn’t control. Earth was known as an element to be stable and constant- so why did his anger burn as hot as the Flamecaller’s breath? Once he was of age, he left the clan to go out on his own. For a long time, he was lost and suspicious of everyone around him. He lived by his strength, doing mercenary jobs in exchange for coin. It was doing this time he accepted who he was. Instead of his name being a burden, it became his strength. Wrath was adamant about joining a clan again. [/indent]He was doing well on his own, and had no intention of being another trainer for fodder. Especially since he lost faith in the deities. After all, they were nothing more than a myth. He’d never met the Earthshaker or Tidelord. And, no one he knew had met them either. There was something that irritated him about dragons who blindly believed in something they never saw for themselves. That was when he met Erebus, a shadow dragon with magic that didn’t compare to anything Wrath had seen before. Curiously, he joined the Clan of Valeria to learn their unique magic. Wrath hadn’t been there long before the goddess Nyx possessed a vessel. He wouldn’t have believed that she was any primordial being if it wasn’t for the chaos she wielded. That was when Wrath decided there was a deity worth believing in, after all. Once he’d proven his worthiness to Nyx, he rose through the ranks of warriors quickly for his age, becoming the youngest Lord Commander of the history of the Conjured Realm. |
