As official shadow rep, Borealis is ironically not the leader of the House of Midnight-Dreamers, that title belonging to Mindight herself. Borealis is in charge of maintaining the collective amount of astral magic swirling through his House. Meditating for nights on end to fully concentrate his power into wrangling spells and conjured objects, he gets lost sometimes in his diligence. Borealis proudly defends the difference in magic between his house and that of Shadowstride (led by Azkaban), stating that the latter of the two dealt in curses and the Shade, rarely ever dipping their talons in the actual magic in the Shadow Flight. When the stars shed tears across the night sky, Borealis casts a foresight spell, allowing him to look into the studies and secrets of the other Houses within the clan. Invasive this might seem, but the Midnight-Dreamers find it resourceful. No on could've predicted the shocking secrets being stored away in the vault-like minds of the families of each house… . And if secrecy wasn't bad enough, Borealis had more personal matters that threatened to lead his studies astray. Not to long ago he was berthed to a newcomer to Thunder-Arrow: his beloved Agaea. Their bondage to each other tied another rope of alliance to the clan of the Collapse Shadow, strengthening another ally in friendship and lore. For the first time, Borealis was quite happy with himself, Agae too, and even mores when the pair learned they were expecting triplets: the first heirs from an alliance in many centuries. However, when the glowing orbs of life were laid in their guarded nests, Borealis and Agaea knew something didn't look quite right with their unborn children. Instead of the normal floating eggs their arcane legacy usually yielded, three pulsating eggs charged with bursts of static aura glowed eerily in their place. Worried for the health of the unborn hatchlings, Borealis and Agaea consulted Midnight, Mercury and Mesprit, who promptly studied the eggs' curious form. Midnight remained silent as Mesprit guided Mercury over the eggs, allowing the mute Archmage to connect with the magic flowing within the nest. The connection was instant, yet the discovery of what lay within scared three mages to their core...
