  Melchizidek was born old. He is not the most pragmatic of creatures; some crueler sorts may say he had outlived his use before he had hatched. Hard of hearing and slow to speak, he often frustrates even his more patient clanmates. But he is a loyal and good friend, and of all the Lux Athenaeum's residents, his is the most dependable shoulder to cry on.
