Growing up in a nomadic clan meant that it had always had to be prepared for being on the move. Even though it had grown accustomed to it, Valve had always wanted an area to call home.

Due to the nature of its clan always being on the move, it got a chance to experience the cultures and traditions, it took an interest in the occult, and mystery.

While Valve's clan was in the Tangled Woods, it had been off adventuring when it met Bubblegum. Valve and Bubblegum had talked for a bit about their experiences in lightning clans, before Bubblegum started talking about her clan. Valve was intrigued by the concept of a highly spiritual clan who was also supposed to be stable in location.

Valve knew that its clan would be off soon, so it had to make its decision quickly. Making sure it would still have contact with its birth clan if needed, Valve so desperately wanted a clan of its own to call home, it took the chance.

Finding a settled clan life to be more its style, Valve decided it wanted to live here permanently. Having the life experience of many different backgrounds, it was given the role of the advisory. Valve was also pretty happy to put its engineering skills to work that it finally had a chance to use.
