Northstar
Herald of the Starlight Circle

Northstar came from a lightning clan that was a titan amongst the other lightning clans. He was often tasked to go back and forth to deliver messages between everyone. One of his defining features is his hatred of seals, which is the main reason Northstar joined the Starlight Circle.
Northstar grew up in the fast paced action of his clan, and had never really minded it. As one of the fastest dragons in his clan, the role of messenger fit him perfectly. He was happy living life, and would have been perfectly happy living his entire life there.
One day, Northstar was minding his business, taking a walk along the desert that was the highland scrub, when he noticed something moving in the distance. Thinking he had been alone this entire time, he decided he wanted to investigate. Northstar had assumed it was another dragon, but as he got closer, he realized that no dragon looked quite like that.
To Northstar's surprise, it was a seal. Oh. He payed it no mind as he went on his way, eventually heading back to his clan.
The exchange had completely been forgotten to him until one day, the clan had gained a new familiar. It was a dappled seal, and one that looked strangely familiar.
Northstar looked at it, and the seal looked straight back.
Despite how massive the clan was, and how busy Northstar found himself, for some reason, he kept having run-ins with the seal. The seal had yet to be assigned to a dragon, and was just as free to roam around as Northstar was.
Northstar's vile hatred of the seal had eventually turned into a disdain for all seals. It wasn't enough to make him leave, his enjoyment of clan life had significantly gone down.
One day on his travels, he ended up meeting with the leader of the Starlight Circle, he chose to join the clan not because of their beliefs, but because of their traditions. He was pretty sure what happened to the "purified" seals wasn't quite as described, and that's what he was hoping when he joined. The dappled seal that he kept seeing now didn't bother him, and he enjoyed having some more privacy than he did in his old clan.
