Darkflight

From the depths of a deep, dark, underground ice lair came Darkflight, a ridgeback with more bite than bark. From the moment he first poked his nose out of his burrow, he knew his destiny lied beyond the neverending glaciers. So, when he reached adolescence, he bid his family farewell, and journeyed off to find where he truly belonged.

He had never expected that he would find it in the desert, where the very ice on his wings dripped away and the sand nibbled and burned at his claws. But the desert was where he found himself, on the ground below Electrician's Edge, and the desert was where he found Screechfang and Skytail crowded around their first clutch of eggs.

This, Darkflight thought to himself. This is where I belong, here, with this new family. Darkflight pledged himself to Screechfang, his consort, and their children, and promised to defend these strangers with his life. At the time, he didn't know why. He just knew deep in his heart that this new family, was also his family.

A great believer in destiny and predisposition, Darkflight is quiet and broody, constantly deep in thought about his troubles and the pledge he made so many years ago. He often struggles to get along with his teammates, as well as the rest of the clan. However, this doesn't mean he is any less dedicated to them, and if anyone were needed to lay down their life to protect the clan and its home, Darkflight would be first in line.

His very breath is cold enough to sting — which does, unfortunately, make drinking quite difficult. He comes from a long line of guards from the most secure Ice prisons, and it shows in his raw strength and intimidating aura. He can cleave through any enemy in a single clean sweep, and his muscles twitch with might under his armor. Darkflight is not a dragon to be crossed by any means, and if one were to cross him…Well, his vengeance will be swift and painless, at the least.
