Suvi is the ever-elegant, sweet-hearted daughter of Screechfang and Skytail. She is their eldest daughter remaining in the clan, and will inherit the clan leadership from them one day. She is all-loving and kind, with a soft and sensitive soul and affection for creatures big and small. She’s very social and loves talking to her clanmates, and has many friends both within and outside of the clan.

However, she is also very naive and innocent. She believes that all dragons are inherently good, until an external force turns them bad. This leaves her susceptible to manipulation, and her family and clanmates are constantly keeping an eye on her to keep her from being led astray. Suvi finds this stifling, and is usually trying to slip away from their careful watch. This especially so applies to the watches of her brother and bodyguard, Rosvirein, and her sister and attendant, Anasa, who are well-meaning but fail to give Suvi the space to breathe that she so desires. Luckily, she has her body double and little brother, Myar, who was initially appointed for the purpose of protecting her, but they both quickly realized it benefited them both much more for Myar to just take Suvi’s place whenever she wanted to wander off and explore the territory.

Suvi is not afraid of her future role as clan leader and the responsibilities it holds. She spends a lot of time by her parents’ sides, studying hard to prepare to take up their positions one day. While Suvi isn’t particularly thrilled about the prospect of her parents growing old and retiring, she is constantly preparing for leadership and has a long list of tasks she wishes to accomplish as leader, such as forming certain alliances or investigating certain happenings.

Suvi is overall extremely trusting of other dragons, especially her clanmates, which has brought her into some conflict with Cadfael’s sect. Suvi only sees Cadfael as a technological genius and admires his work, while Cadfael scorns her for who she is and the monarchy she represents. Suvi is too naive to see Cadfael’s disgust of her, and is frequently resting her neck on the chopping block by seeking out his genius.

Outside of Cadfael’s inner circle, Suvi is very popular among her clanmates, being just as loved by them as much as she loves them. The soft jingling of her ornaments, the sweet smell of her fur, the soft glimmering pink of her wings — Suvi’s presence is always welcome, and her clanmates never mind pausing what they’re doing to speak with their future leader. She’s always friendly, always kind, and always beautiful, and above all, always curious, with hundreds of questions about her more scientifically-minded clanmates and their areas of research.

Suvi is very doting on her parents, and while she’s usually at their sides for the purpose of learning from them, she also stays at their side to support them and offer their input. More than once, Screechfang has bumbled over a word until Suvi’s sweet voice offered it, or Skytail has been too busy for an errand and Suvi has energetically volunteered to take care of it. When it comes down to it, Suvi is probably the biggest supporter of the clan’s current model of leadership — and not because she’s the next in line to inherit it, but out of sheer love and trust for her parents.
