B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme:The Only Exception

______ RainSong. It’s a very pretty name if you think about it. The song of the rain, that graces those who listen. However, this isn’t the most happy song to hear. her parents sadly…she was their last kid let’s just say, her and her siblings. She was a very pretty dragon who was picked up when the clan first started. It was an arcane lair at the time, filled with magic and hatchlings. The founders bought her, an imp male who was full of himself, a shy cute snapper female, and a bold funny guardian male. RainSong found the guardian to be the best thing to her awkward house life ever.

______ Besides having love in her life RainSong excelled in magic. Not attack magic, but healing magic. RainSong found she could heal from a tiny paper cut to scar leaving wounds and beyond third degree burns. She found out one day when the snapper got herself burned by a beast clan member, she was close to death and RainSong, in panic, some how summoned her power from her paws by begging to the Lightweaver to save her. RainSong always told the guardian everything, but this she kept to herself. She did enjoy knowing she could heal, since she knew he loved to fight.

______ RainSong found the guardian to become her best friend and learned his name. His name was Flare. Flare always tried to cheer her up since RainSong at the time didn’t talk much to anyone. She would always laugh at his tricks and rambles on how he’d be the best warrior and help anyone. He seemed funny at the time, yet he meant every word and loved how she would believe in him. When he and her grew up they became mates. The two would be found reading books together, Flare practicing fighting and RainSong watching, and them even sleeping with one another. RainSong found he was her soul mate, for even if they didn’t have many interests they always were happy with one another around.

B I O G R A P H Y

______ Sadly the male imp was jealous of them, of Flare. He thought such a male with such basic genes with such a pretty wonderful sky dancer was a crime. That, and that he should have RainSong, not him. RainSong came home one day to find Flare murdered in their nest, holding a stone she found for him to proclaim her love to him. This left the Skydancer broken, emotionally and mentally. She closed herself off to everyone and everything. She however clung to the male imperial since she knew him since childhood. RainSong was depressed, wakes up, clinging to the male all day, and sleeping. She kept thinking on how she could’ve saved him or how she could’ve been there more. One day a pearl catcher came to the clan, having many powers. she asked him how Flare died and she learned the truth.

______ RainSong went into a blind furry, attacking the male, who some how got to stay, leaving her forever hating him. She ever since has chosen to lead a life of being a healer. She always had a talent to heal. She also has chosen never to have a mate, at best she’ll breed if someone wants a child…but other than this she finds it pointless. She knows who she loved, and he died. RainSong has no desire to allow herself to love again for to her, he was the only exception to her rule of love.

______ RainSong did learn from Flare, more than love. She learned to let others into her life and for that, she has made sure always to do this. RainSong will often, when not needing to heal some dragon, be playing with hatchlings Cherish brings home. RainSong knows what Cherish is and what she did, but choses to be her friend anyway, she hopes to fix the broken tundra. Till that day comes she loves to help. She often is called mom by any younger dragon since she most likely saw them even more than the Hatchling Caretaker with how much she loves hatchlings.
