Purrron

If Purrron wasn't a dragon, he would be a cat. Not a cat that prowls and stalks through its territory, but that fat cat always lounging in the sun. The one moving only so someone can scratch their belly or for meal time. Not many dragons question the mage's feline habits as not many can deny that the sun is warm and comfy to lay down in. Purrron was one of those dragons who just liked the sunlight just a little more than the rest. Those who do question usually decide he takes after his mother's flight. After all, it is common knowledge that the fire flight dragons love warmth. Being both from an arcane drake and the fire dragonesses, his magic must respond and grow stronger under the light. How innocent the young ones are. Soon after speaking to the drake, they realize this was all guesswork and he just loves the warmth.

As a mage, he isn't much into the studying or experimenting portion. In fact, he doesn't seem to desire to expand his knowledge at all. The reason is simple. The dragon has always been able to manipulate the world around him just enough to please him. He has enough raw talent to make his sunbeam a little warmer and teleport small pieces of food. It's all he needs. He certainly can't, nor wants to, create a new spell or make a new dimension. A little extra sun and food is enough for this dragon.

Many think this dragon doesn't lift a claw and is a dead weight to the clan. This is far from the truth. Purrron is one of the support beams of the clan. When life wears a dragon down, the drake is ready with a warm spot, food, and a listening ear. Hatchlings will get a little light show until their loud sobs transform into pearls of laugher. Now, this is what he got from his mother. His mother was one of the dragons who took care of the young of the clan. She watched out for everyone and was the first to wipe away Purrron's tears. She inspired him to become warm and caring, but knew there was no spot for him in his homeclan. They already had his mother and that was enough for any clan. So, after a teary farewell, he left to find a clan in need of his talents. Purrron was very happy to find Raincloud's clan, which was in need of a caring snapper and had plenty of sunny spots. Since arriving, he has never thought of leaving and will continue to be a loyal caretaker for a long while yet.
