The first hint came when he was merely a hatchling; he was playing on the coast with his siblings as his parents looked on, when he startled at apparently nothing. He hid behind his parents' claws, and as they shared a quiet laugh over his nervousness, they caught sight of a band of Maren breaching the water just beyond where the hatchlings had been playing. After this, Pinot especially became more attentive to Sepientiae's sudden changes in mood. ______ As Sepientiae grew, so did his abilities. When he reached maturity, Xiaotong took him to The Bad Wolf's Seer, Bei. They sought advice, eager to support Sepientiae and give him the best they and the Clan could offer. Bei was ecstatic that a Seer had been born among the Clan, the first one in memory. But Bei recognized that for Sepientiae to reach his full potential, he must go out into the world and discover it for himself. Perhaps, Bei suggested, he could extend the Wolves' influence by allying them with a new clan. ______ And so, with the blessing of his Clan and a pack full of gifts, Sepientiae descended Focal Point and headed away from the sea, toward the Scarred Wasteland. He journeyed through it, through Dragonhome, and into the Viridian Laybrinth. Once his claws pressed into the luscious, soft grass, he knew: he was home. He marveled at the wildlife and flora in the Everbloom Gardens, but the crush of the undergrowth felt too constricting. Emerging into the crashing tiers of waterfalls in the Gladeveins, his heart sang. He followed the path that felt right to him, and found himself in the home of the Ivybind clan. Sepientiae presented his clan's peace offerings: hedgehogs, magical shards, and Starfall Blossom.
