Biography

AN ODD SPIRIT
OTHALA
GUARDIAN OF LIFE
CESARIA EVORA - AUSENCIA

SOKHOR LEGENDS
The Sokhor tell a story of a sun god Sherkhau, his lover Arzu, the wind, and their child, Othala, the life. The Sokhor tell that, when the maelstrom of Void and outer emptiness energies collided and Alkharis Agni was created, he newly formed land immedeately thrusted into chaos and turmoil. It was then that the first Odd Spirits, physical manifestations of the elements, had come to be. The first spirit was the sun, Sherkhau. His golden fiery main flowed freely in the wind, and the wind's name was Arzu. He fell in love with Arzu, a faceless and genderless god of wind, and their immense passion had created clouds, which rained down upon the lifeless desert, bringing with them the first specks of life. The life's name was Othala.

A period of great fertility and prosperity was upon Alkharis Agni, then still a nameless world. The stronger the bond between the Sun and the Wind was, the more life flourished. Othala, still being a child, had made the young world her playground, and made a multitde of creatures to suit her little games. It was then when the first Raka, the predeccessors of Rakshas, emerged. Unfortunately for all the animals and plants Othala had created, the period of prosperity didn't come to last.

The outher emptiness, called Sonnu by the Sokhor, had taken interest in the world closest to it's shadowy grasp. It had buried itself in Arzu's mind, infected them and the harmony of Alkharis Agni was broken. Arzu had fled the land and Othala left in pursuit of them, both only leaving fleeting remnants of their once great power. Sherkhau, stricken by grief over his broken family, retreated into his empty heavenly realm above the Aquillabi valley, turning the prosperous and lively land into a desert-shaped scar upon Alharis Agni.

PERSONALITY
Many Sokhor legends paint Othala to be the most mature of the primordial Odd Spirits. She's empathetic, loving and understanding, and many times succesfully quelled the conflicts between both her parents. She was known to mingle with the Rakshas she created, albeit most her contacts being akin to a game, not a serious romance. She was also known to be witty and intelligent, many times predicting skirmishes and territorial conflicts between the Rakshas tribe, coming at the very start of the battle to soothe the warring people. It is suspected that she left many offspring, who were known to have a strong connection to the elements and feel and understand the very fabric of Alkharis Agni. Many generations later, such individuals' incredible powers were watered down, but still do occasionally emerge in modern Rakshas.

LEGACY
Her current whereabouts are not known, as well whether she is alive or not. She was suspected to have emerged among the Hubbar sprites, taking on an appearance of one of them, and there had been records of Void sprites contacting unknown deep space entities, but nobody can know for sure. As far as the Sokhor, the people who had been closest with her, know, she left the Void altogether in pursuit of her corrupted parent, but, knowing that Sonnu will stop at nothing to overtake her beautiful creations and will try to slip past the realm of possibility into Alkharis Agni, she left a creature with a spirit so powerful, it could scare off Sonnu's abberations. Such creatures are now known as morps and used to fend off the wild yblys.
