Being born with scales of crystal and shimmering stones didn’t lend itself to sympathy from other dragons, and Tevinter quickly discovered that the dragons around him all seemed to assume that they already knew him, based solely on his appearance. He still allowed himself to wear the jewelry and silks that he enjoyed, seeing as it would make little difference whether he did or different, when everywhere he went dragons seemed to only see the deep glistering shine of his pelt, rather than a friendly—if lonely—wildclaw beneath. Tevinter spent a great deal of his time following after other dragons in the clan, trying to find his place, learning as much as he could take in and doing little chores if the others would allow him to. He was better than average at things, but tried his best, even though his efforts went over the heads of the others. Much of his true joy came from the holiday festivals, when he could meet so many different dragons, admire all of their unique clothing and art, and best of all, dance at the bonfires that dotted Sornieth on festival nights. Tevinter would take the weeks to fly out to the land of the holiday and dance his nights away, making friends all across the land. One in particular remembered Tevinter for a long time after, and Tevinter remembered him as well—Sandmint, a shy but enthusiastic wildclaw who would later send letters to Tevinter (with a sentry squawker, no less). Eventually his rounds led him to Savil, the somewhat reclusive scholar, mechanic, and what-have-you in the clan. He took an immediately liking to Savil, for, though the wildclaw didn’t realize it, his initial dislike of Tevinter only delighted him, and Tevinter immediately started leafing through Savil’s studies and trying to help him with his research. Savil’s only comments on Tevinter’s appearance were to tell him that it was too flashy, which Tevinter didn’t mind in the slightest, because he knew that the other wildclaw’s criticisms simply came from annoyance. Before long, the beautiful young wildclaw finally had a genuine friend, for the first time in his life… except maybe for Sandmint. |

- savil and sandmint basically gave him a chance to feel normal and loved for who he is, not for his scales, helped him find a true home
- he and savil have almost kissed 183925 times but more than often sandmint butts in as a tease
- one time he and savil are left alone and they walk off to a moonlit grassy patch and kiss
- he and savil eventually date
- sandmint purposely third wheels him and savil but they love him anyway

- while tev and nq aren't romantically involved, they're very close friends
- tev and nq have kids because tev and savil can't? plus tev and nq are content with the dynamic
- piper has mixed feelings and tends to be closer to her mom, but astros is actually quite close with his dad
