Mandria was an imperial before the EmShield was raised. Now a beautiful pearlcatcher, Mandria still has a long wingspan, her delicate antlers, and a surprising amount of muscle.
As a hatchling, Mandria was taught that being exalted was the best thing which could happen to a dragon. But as she saw her fellow hatchlings be exalted time and time again as they were just about to grow up, Mandria grew afraid. When she overheard that she was next in line, she took to the air and fled. She was a clumsy fledgling, but she managed to get a headstart on her clanmates. The land of the Arcanist is full of wormholes and teleportation magics. Deciding that anywhere else was better than exaltation, Mandria flew through a wormhole. The wormhole nearly collapsed on her, spitting her out beneath the icy ocean around the domain of the Icewarden. Mitri saw the struggling, drowning imperial hatchling and summoned the clan to help. Saved from drowning and exaltation, Mandria pledged her allegiance to Clan Spectral.
Mandria is soft-spoken, and carries a queenly demeanor. As both a pearlcatcher and an imperial, she has an innate ability to detect what is in people's heart, mind, and soul. She is humble and never engages in vanity. Her training in her old clan causes her to neglect herself and her needs in favor of the greater good.
