Tigana's conception was all a great ruse to allow an even grander tragedy to commence. A fledgling clan within the Everbloom Gardens was attempting to take root. This was easy prey for a more established rival clan. They sent their spies to infiltrate the lair and later turned the grove into their plaything. All those who did not flee didn't survive the blood bath, except for one - the matriarchy. She looked for anything to salvage, yet in her hunt only found one egg within their nesting dens; one made by the enemy. Disgusted by the memory, she abanded the egg and exulted herself to serve the Gladekeeper instead. The only thing now that protected this seed of life from withering away was the plant life that steadily reclaimed this torn-up ground and the territorial wild animals that were enthralled by Mother Nature's love.

Years passed, and one of the sly hatchlings that did escape that dark day returned as a man - a conman, to be exact. This man was a Bogsneak named Baitinclaw. Bait' convinced the two other wyrms that captured him one day, a yellow Imperial named Excalibur and a blue Snapper named Torbin, that he must be returned to his home to face a trial for the crimes he committed against them. Surprisingly, the two shrewd Water dragons fell for his ruse and escorted him to the ruined lair where Bait' planned to give them the slip. However, none of the three of them would have predicted that their fates were forever interwoven when they came across that abandoned egg.

By that state, Tigana's poor egg started to shrivel after waiting so long to be hatched. It took the nurturing magic of the two Water warlocks, and the spark of life instilled by the Nature sorcerer, three days and three nights to revitalize that seed and make it bloom. What sprouted from their hard work was a little Ridgeback. But they quickly discovered that the baby boy could not speak, and was overall quite frail. And though with their combined efforts they ensured the strength of the boy returned, the mutation of muteness remained. Baitinclaw was both humbled and ashamed that he didn't rescue Tigana's egg that day. And it was Baitinclaw himself that spearheaded the idea that the three of them should stay together, for Tigana's sake.

A few things led to another, and now Tigana lives in an inn founded by his three adoptive parents called the Outpost Sanctuary Inn within the Carrion Canyon.

Torbin the Snapper became fixated on becoming Sornieth's strongest Exulted during this time. She did not offer much in raising Tigana outside of giving a lofty goal to achieve when it came to growing his physical strength. Baitinclaw, likewise, was focused on establishing the Inn so that they can more feasibly stay in the land where Tigana's race came from. Secretly, Bait's true goal was to find a doctor or inventor who could find a way to fix Tigana's muteness just so that they could finally sleep with a clear conscience again! Forchently for the restless Bogsneak, this goal later became reality within Tigana's current young adulthood. But regarding his youth, the only one who gave him proper guidance was the Imperial, Excalibur.

Serving both as Tigana's strict master and his stern father, the young boy was first given enough breathing room to find hobbies and discover his passion. Excalibur was a seasoned trader at this point, and took the young hatchling around the world as he made his business transactions, all the while observing closely what the hatchling did and what caught their eye, outside of toys of course. One day, Excalibur connected the fact that Tigana had a knack for calming down some unruly familiars he was trying to sell. It was at that moment, Excalibur knew what to train their son in - a tamer and handler - and thus the pressure commenced.

Not even before Tigana's forward-facing horn grew but a few inches, Excalibur threw his protege figuratively and literally to the wolves. The young boy's strength bolstered at the same rate his body rapidly grew in size. No monster should best him right away in a raw test of might. Tigana studied day and night with only the finest academic journals Excalibur could swindle. No common familiar would ever be unknown to the young teenager. And last but the most important, Excalibur instilled kindness and compassion into Tigana. Excalibur took the time to come up with their own coded language so they could speak to one another through rhythmic taps. Tigana was exposed to the many non-draconic tribes within the world through Excalibur's trading. Tigana was given love and support with every step, every high, and every low. It was instilled in Tigana that a true tamer must nurture. The young man's crowning moment that validated all this hard work was when he managed to tame a Malevolent Spirit from the depths of the infamous Ghostlight Ruins. And ever since that day, Tigana has tamed many more dangerous monsters to help his home, and sell to help his dad out around the Inn, of course.

Incredibly brave; Tigana would dive into the most active volcanos to rescue his teammates or scavenge near the epidemic centers of the Plague flight to find ingredients for a cure. He often still gets scolded by Exil' when Tigana takes up jobs for no pay, or gives away their hard-earned livestock for free when it lines with Tigs's moral compass. With so many feats under this young man's belt, the future looks bright for this Ridgeback. There's no telling where his next adventure will take him next!

The following should be read with a very filtered voice in mind, akin to someone who smokes too much or has a robotic twang to their voice.

29669923p.png "You know, I'm gonna' tell you a little secret. Out of all of my 'three parents', I love him the most. Please don't tell the others that for me, okay? Of course, I doubt Excaliber would believe you if you did. By the Storm', I bet if I told him that to his face he'd smack me in the back of the head with his little puppet, and tell me to get back to work. Heh... But yeah, really, out of the three he honestly has the sole right to be labeled as 'my father'. Bait' always kept a weird distance from me. And I only really got to know Torbin once I got strong enough to fight alongside her - and even then she still outmatches me in like everything! Father though, he took things slow... found ways to talk with me... put up with me shoving my snoot into everything. He works me hard, like, really hard, but I love him for that. Father's my greatest treasure."

29649722p.png "Every time we lock eyes I feel like there's some big secret he's not telling me. Of course, that's par for the course when it comes to Bait'. Uh, what can I say though that can paint him in a better light... Uhhhh... He really likes to spoil the hatchlings? Good with money? Ah!, his magic is wicked good! Honestly, he makes me a bit envious. I keep asking him what books he read to get so proficient with Nature magic but he keeps saying it's "all-natural" and "homegrown". I really hate his puns . . ."

29669933p.png "Torbin... she's ... a clawfull... she's the only one I know that gets Father to roar violently. It's not uncommon to see him pounce her to get her to stop moving. That all said She's lept from literal nowhere to help us when we get in a pinch more times then I can count.... Uhg, that said? She tells me so many tall tales that it's... it's hard to take her seriously. Like here, listen, pull out your map for a second, please?
She claims she survived the eye of the Twisting Crescendo three weeks ago. That escapade launched her into the middle of Reclaimer's Glacier with no supplies. She then exited the Ice flight through the peeks of the Cloudscrape Crags traveling west. She then hooked north to Arcane. She then said quote 'an accident happened' - doesn't elaborate, then claims she's suddenly in the middle of the Rotrock Rim. And then after having some of 'the soup', I don't even want to know is if the soup is what I think it is. But then after having 'the soup' she claimed she felt she now felt 'too powerful'. To remedy that, she then said to me that she then made a b-line across the entire continent, to Light, just so that she could spar with the Emperor that's roaming around there still for a week nonstop to 'blow off steam'.
And sadly I know that at least the last part of that story was true because dad and I needed to drag her out of there! Baitinclaw showed us several bounties for Torbin by some Light clans because she was agitating the giant mindless behemoth. I-I don't know how she's still alive."

30033884p.png "I really love hanging out with Lucrest, but sometimes I don't feel like we match at the same energy levels? Like... Here, for example; when we go scouting together I have to keep telling him to hold back with some of the tribes we encounter. We are forging in their territories, of course there'd be skirmishes. That doesn't mean we have to always fight to the death. And sometimes it is better to let some of the pray we do catch be let go. We don't want to take too much to disrupt the ecosystem. That all said, I love seeing him get all psyched and pumped when I point out an invasive species and we both go to town on it!"

30365667p.png "When either Lucrest, Father, Torbin, and I travel down south to the Ice flight Apophyllite is right on our tail. Whether he was invited or not is not always, like, there. And he sings on and on about how good it is to visit home again with his best friends, and all that junk. His help is...welcomed, much needed sometimes honestly - Lucrest would sing his praise about him for days and days on end. Snackers too... But... Still. I get this odd aura about him. Like he's... watching me. Watching everyone. When I told Father about this too, he expressed the same concerns as well. Of course, try to confront Apappy about anything and he'd make you the one who's turning red in the face. Apophyllite's good at pushing others away with flair, I'll give him that much."

30008723p.png "Ultima has tried really hard to recover my magic, but I can only seem to cast Nature magic when I'm really excited. We've tried everything... I... Don't mind too much. Though, I wish still then I was Lightning if I was stuck with something I couldn't use, that way I could have fit in better. Ah... Don't tell the others I said that last bit, okay?"

31299690p.png "A lot of wyrms assume that Lucrest and I are the 'best friends' of the lair, but I feel bad that everyone looks over Snackers. Yeah, sure, he's not a fighter like we are... But nothing beats coming home after a long trip and my best friend is there wanting to hear all your tall tales and feeds you the best of meals. Even after he heard the same tale a hundred times over - and he's a Snapper! When I come back also he shows me what new gadgets he made while forging - oh he's been exploring outside a lot more too! I'm really proud of him! But yeah, I come back - and he wants me to see all the new things he made and I help him out with him. He's just... I feel like I can be myself around him is what I'm trying to say."

29706932p.png "Tinder? Oh... She's..... Tinder... She came around a little after I finished carving out the lair's second renovation and she stayed for us for a long while. I tried to impress her with some offerings - I-I uh, get a lot of familiars to like me, and stuff, but... Man, I got scared I offended her because she left us to be with Stormcatcher right afterward. But, hey! She's back. I guess she got some cold claws at the sign-up sheet. It happens to the best of us. Her pet's happy she's back too! I... I know she may try to go back to The Boss, but I hope she stays around for a little while longer. I hope she notices me more."

27581020p.png "Oh, I know her! Almost didn't recognize her from that description you gave before, but yeah, I know her! Jasmine comes down to our venue where I sell familiars every Thundercrack and talks for a spell with me. It's one of the small parts I look forward to every year! Jasmine keeps inviting me to visit her when it's Greenskeeper Gathering, yet when I go to where she says she is with my friends or father with me, she's never around. It's this weird back-and-forth we've been having for a few years now. Is this... Is this flirting? Should I try visiting her while I'm alone? I don't think I'm ready for that level of commitment yet...Oh no, how do I reject someone softly? I don't want to make Jasmine sad! Ahg... I'll just kick that can down the road till next year, if she shows up again. Maybe it'll sort itself out..."
