⸙ Alone in the Garden ⸙
Ashae is honored with the title of Guild Leader, the role being passed to him from the previous clan leader Guardian Nymphaea, who was granted her own role by the original matriarch, Queen Astra.
Ashae has compassion and empathy for all living creatures, especially those of his guild. He leads them with confidence and honor, allowing them to live free and comfortably as he keeps everything in order, responding to each critique and praise with equal respect. He is proud to call the Gleaming Lotus Glen home and is honored to be leading the guild. He works closely with the high ranking members of his circle, including his advisors, Gravity and Orlaithe. Orlaithe is quite the capable advisor, whereas Gravity has little to no experience in the matters of leadership. Ashae was told of his story, and decided to take Gravity under his wing to teach him more about responsibility and the matters of the guild, the importance of decision making and other such things. Ashae and Gravity are actually quite close, and they always give Orlaithe quite hard time since she is typically so serious and formal. As for the matter of Ashae's blessings, received from the Gladekeeper herself, he carries the ability to connect with all nature, able to heal and breathe life into sickly, withering plants and rejuvenate forests that have been culled, and to call upon the very essence of nature when he needs, to keep himself from harm. He carries these blessings with pride, always thankful to the Gladekeeper for the honor he was granted, and he is sure to care for the Viridian Labyrinth the way it cares for him, and his family; the Guild. |

As the seasons change, so does the Guild. Leaders long since passed on their sacred title to Ashae, as is tradition whenever the Guild moves territories. New homes bring new beginnings, new laws, new faces and new cultures. As such, a new Guild Leader is to be elected, and given their title in order to guide the Guild to a prosperous, peaceful and flourishing future.
Ashae, always calm and collected, keeps watch over the Guild's most sacred gardens and sees to each affair involving merchants, warriors, and many more of the other deeply involved occupations that the Guild relies on for trade and treasure. His advisors hail from past territories, and while he admits to being rather lax with Gravity considering the young Wildclaw's history, Orlaithe often picks up his slack and shows him how to go through most of the paperwork the Guild must fill out to keep track of items, treasure and other important forms. However, as he walks among the precious fields of flowers and plants, he feels shadows all around him. Not necessarily The Shade, or some of the tricky members the Guild has given home to, but rather, the sinister feeling of something lurking in wait. The Gladekeeper does not speak to him often, but her presence is there. Reassuring, but not enough to keep his doubts at bay. Gladekeeper, if only there was a sign. Ashae's eyes drift towards the sacred grounds of the Hibernal Den, where many dragons rest in ruminant slumber. If only Astra were not asleep. Astra, the Guild's progenitor and former Queen, was a prophet of the highest caliber. Her strong visions were almost always quite clear, however mysterious or unfulfilled they were. Ages after the Tidelord vanished and Astra had long since passed on her leadership, she retired to the Den to meditate in order to reach out to her Deity. It had been quite some time since they had last spoken. He still remembers her last vision she shared with him. Many moons shall pass before the monster that lurks afar will rise. The true terror, however, shall reside underneath the blind eye. Ashae couldn't help but feel like he was missing a piece of the puzzle that was of utmost importance. Of course, he often held council with many of the Guild's scholars, priests, prophets, oracles, each of which had nothing of the extreme to share with him. He feared for the future of those he loved; the peace and serenity of the Guild felt almost fragile. Perhaps, it was time to fly. |
