Hekate is the greek goddess of witchcraft, the night (esp. the moon), ghosts/necromancy, herbs (esp. poisonous ones), and the crossroads. If I believed in deities she'd be one.

Luna's boss. Technically. For the most part. They're still trying to work that out between themselves as Cosmos and Keres don't seem to care one way or another as long as they get their chores done. She also helps Terra in the gardens though it is more to help herself get the herbs she wants.
Hekate will actually teach you the magic she knows while the others try and learn even more themselves. Luna might be flying around too fast but Hekate is always where you need her.
