Biography
- an ancient banescale found dead deep within lost desert catacombs, who was resurrected by the combined efforts of Solithe and Krezira
- The first banescale in Ra-Harenae, and was hailed as a resurrected demigod by the populace
- his catacombs included several steles and carvings detailing his valiant deeds in life, which may or may not be hyperbole on the part of the long-dead author
- there are those that believe firmly in Kydea’s power as a prophet. They gild his scales in gold leaf and drape him in the tattered remains of his burial shroud to symbolize his ‘rebirth’
- retains few if any memories of his pre-resurrection life, and has only the words of his own eulogies to tell him what he once was
- the dead are jealous of his escape; they whisper in his mind and claw at his shroud, desperately hoping to pull themselves from the underworld. His mind is slowly disintegrating as a result
- they call him titan-slayer and reborn god, but he has fears that he’s not what his eulogies say he was
The water is black. I open my mouth, I drown. And thus, goodbye.
